Today I’m posting my review of an Orange Circle Studio Planner that I purchased on Amazon.
I have also made a video review and placed it on Youtube, you can check it out here.
Every mother needs to make to do lists and keep track of things on the calendar. I saw this planner on Amazon and I thought it would be a cute way to do it. I had never heard of Orange Circle Studio, but I thought it would be fun to try.
The artwork on the front is very pretty; I actually liked the orange color better, but purple was available to get quicker so I went with it.
When I buy planners I like to buy academic year. I guess this is because I homeschool and it’s like a little bonus to get the extra months.
This planner was advertised as a monthly and weekly, and goes from August 2016-December 2017. In the front there is a small pocket to keep things in, and there is a handy elastic strap to keep the planner shut.
There are 2 pages worth of small stickers in the front covering holidays and common household events like doctors, the dentist, and the vet, along with bill paying, coffee dates, family events, shopping, date nights, gym and vacation. There are about 20 stickers each for vacations, hair, and nails. I guess people that buy planners are well rested and have great hair and nails!
The next part of the planner was the only downside that I see. The monthly pages are a little smaller than 5 x 5. That is smaller than I expected it to be. There are a few lines that you could write things on under each month, but I think I would like to see it a little bigger.
Where it lacks in the overall month it makes up for in the week by week part. Each day of the week has a vertical section and has plenty of space to write down your events. There is also a new quote for every week, if you like that kind of thing.
It seems to be good at writing in the holidays.
There are pages for contacts and notes. Also, the last tenth of the book is made up of small to do lists and shopping list.
I think it is a neat little planner, obviously there are a couple things I would change (the size and location of the monthly calendars) but it should do its purpose.
Overall, I would give it 4 out of 5 stars.
I have also attached some pictures of the inside of the planner.
